Wild-plant walk - The Law

£16.00

A wild-plant walk to take us on a loop around the foot of the Law, with a focus on exploring and getting to know some of the wildflowers and hedgerow plants around the south side of our most distinctive and evocative landmark!

Wednesday 10th June, 7 - 8:30pm, setting off from the Law car park.

Along the way I’ll share and discuss some herbal remedies which can be made with the season’s wild-plants. This is a great chance to build your confidence and familiarity with the local wild-plants in the landscape all around us. We’ll identify and discuss around 15 medicinal plants, and learn ways to use them in day-to-day real and accessible ways.

This 1.5 hour walk is an opportunity to grow in relationship with the plants and the seasons, for a sense of belonging and empowerment in your own health and wellbeing.

You can expect a warm welcome - bring your questions, we have the plants and nature as our teacher. Suitable for complete beginners, and if you have a herbal practice, my hope is that we can all share our recipes, remedies and ideas!

Accessibility: We will be walking on the footpath which circumnavigates the Law. It is unsurfaced, and uneven; narrow around the southerly section. Please wear suitable footwear for a small footpath trail. The total route of the walk is approximately 2km. If you would like more information about the route and accessibility please do email me: liz@reikiremedysanctuary.co.uk
