Summer Solstice - Yoga & Herbal outing!

£25.00

Tamsyn (Yin Yoga with Tamsyn) and I would like to invite you to an outdoor celebration of the Summer Solstice, held in the evening of Thursday 18th June in the dune slack wildflower meadow at Yellowcraig!

This beautiful landscape will be the perfect setting to feel grounded and connected as we share an intention of listening to the land, the season and our bodies.

Thursday 18th June, 7-9pm
This event will be limited to 12 participants

  • We’ll immerse ourselves in this beautiful landscape by starting with a mindful, observation and sensory walk guided by Liz towards the wildflower meadows in the dune-slack to the east of the main Yellowcraig car park. Taking time to notice the season’s healing herbs as we walk, feel a sense of landing and connecting to your body as part of nature.

  • In the wildflower meadow we’ll lay our yoga mats for a seasonal yoga session led by Tamsyn, working with the meridians to support our bodies in this Yang season. Yoga will be gentle yet dynamic, to move our bodies in a flow with the landscape and the solstice sunshine!

  • Still within the meadow setting, we’ll make a herbal remedy and gather a small token from nature to act as anchors taking our practice forward into the Summer season.

  • Walking a loop route back to the car park, we’ll listen to the evening birdsong, connect with the trees and share in the energy of the plants and land. Return to your car feeling so ready for the summer season, so open to the vitality and flow, and with some yoga and herbal practices to keep you feeling calm and grounded.

We are excited to offer this unique workshop blending a Seasonal yoga practice with Herbs for holistic wellbeing.

You can expect a warm welcome and a friendly inclusive group, and the workshop is suitable for complete beginners - you don't need to have any background in Yoga, or Herbalism!

Full details including what to bring and the pin-point meeting location will be provided by email nearer the time.
