Kids' February break herbal workshops

I’m looking forward to some early signs of Spring at the February break kid’s herbalism workshops!

On the Monday before school starts back, I’m planning a workshop which will be available morning or afternoon.

We will learn about some of the late winter / early spring herbs in the garden, and find out about how nature can keep us feeling happy and well.

Monday 23rd February: Juicy Spring Greens!
We’ll take a herb garden wander to identify some of Spring’s first healing herbs - the freshest juiciest greens which we’ll taste as a herbal tea sweetened with our bees’ honey and enjoyed with a wild-spiced ‘ginger’ biscuit!

Then we’ll think ahead to growing season to come, and plant up a mini herb garden to take home; 3 family-friendly healing herbs with beautiful labels to get to know over the year.

There will be a postcard to colour and personalise for each herb, a reminder of the plants we’ve talked about and how you could use them for to support your healthy body.

  • 10am - 11:30am, all primary school ages

  • 1pm - 2:30pm, all primary school ages

Please do get in touch if you have any questions - liz@reikiremedysanctuary.co.uk.

Adults can choose to stay or drop off. Places limited to 9 young people per session; please book a place for each sibling to ensure ratios are met.
