Flora & Fauna birthday parties!

Available across East Lothian; I’m based in North Berwick.

I would love to plan and deliver a herb-inspired birthday party for your child. I’ve done these for children from 4 years to teenagers, and we can tailor the activity to their personal interests or the season.

I’ll bring the baskets of herbs, natural ingredients, and all you’ll need to make some seasonal herbal remedies in a fun and engaging way. Previous themes have included:

  • Herbal first aid box;

  • Natural spa goodies bag;

  • The world of the Honeybees.

If you’d like to organise a party together, please get in touch with a date you have in mind.

Once we’ve confirmed a day and time, please book by adding the number of children / participants to the basket.
I plan and prepare for your group based on the number of people booked in, so just keep me updated if numbers change.

  • Group size: the minimum is 5 children / participants, and depending on the size of your space I can deliver for up to 15 if other adults are on hand to help with some of the crafty activities.

  • Alternatively I can host your group up to 6 children here at the R&R Sanctuary (North Berwick)

  • To keep the pace of the party, I suggest my herbal activity ‘part’ of the party is 1 hour long.

  • All the materials are provided, and the herbal remedies you make will be packaged in a box or bag… and that’s the party bag sorted!

  • If you’d like to gift copies of the ‘Year in Herbs’ journal at your party, I can offer these at the trade price of £9 each.

I am PVG certified through Disclosure Scotland and can provide a Scheme Membership Statement, and fully insured with Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity & Malpractice Insurance covering Herbalism, Reiki therapy and teaching, and Horticultural activities.

The workshop is provided as a Community Herbalism activity, and the advice and information provided is based on traditional, commonly accepted and well-established herbal information. It is for education purposes only and not intended as medical advice. The workshop is intended to inspire and educate, and by purchasing this workshop you confirm you are attending on this basis.

Please note that once you have booked a party the date is held as reserved for you. If you cancel your party less than 48 hours before the workshop is scheduled to take place, you will be charged the full amount and a refund will not be possible. To free up the calendar it is appreciated if you provide as much notice as possible if you do need to cancel, please email liz@thehoneybeesanctuary.org.
